A gift for you ~ Guess what's inside?

It's beautiful isn't it?   The wrapping is pristine, the bow is perfect, corners are finished - it definitely looks like a professional job.  Ahhhh, a job well done.  And it SHOULD BE PERFECT because I have spent HOURS working on it.  I have fretted about ensuring that each detail of the wrapping, NO MATTER what angle you happened to view your gift from .... is perfect.  I actually thought I was 'done' and it was ready to present to you yesterday but then when I inspected it a little closer I found that it was not quite PERFECT and decided to work a little harder on it before I did the unveiling.  TADA!

I wonder what is inside?  WHO CARES!  The wrapping is brilliant! (don't look too closely)  I think we should just enjoy the wrapping .... for a few minutes.... and then we can spend the rest of the day looking for the NEXT gift.  Who knows?  Maybe the NEXT gift will be wrapped even MORE PERFECTLY.

Life can be like that.
WE  CAN BE LIKE THAT.

'The giver' can spend so long ensuring that the packaging, the outside of the gift, the 'surface side' of a  gift, a moment of life.....is 'just perfect' that the ACTUAL GIFT gets lost, sometimes entirely.

'The receiver' can enjoy the packaging of a gift, of each moment and then be distracted by .... the ZILLIONS of things going on at any moment in time in everyone's day!.... and lose the gift as well as the actual sentiment of the gift in the haze of distraction and the quest to get 'the next gift' has already begun.

BY THE WAY, guess what is inside?

Our own personal freedom.  Huh.   Wha?!

When both 'the giver' and 'the receiver' spend more time focusing on what is INSIDE each gift, each person, each moment, each thought, each shared exchange.....than THE WRAPPING that has been placed around it (how someone looks, how they dress, what job title do they have, how YOU are dressed, 'is there something in my teeth?' etc)

We arrive at personal freedom....AND WE ALSO extend that out to others in every moment with every thought and every shared exchange.

Now, THAT'S FREEDOM.

AMAZING GRACE and our Angels

This wondrous piece has brought such peace and strength to me at such times in my life when.....I truly needed it.  

Times when I felt most vulnerable and alone...I would find myself humming this tune and then as I 'found myself' at the end of the first verse, I would pick up the volume and put a little more 'ummph' in the words as I sang them...at this point I would be singing OUT LOUD AND PROUD...and this almost always happened and CURRENTLY HAPPENS around the 2nd and 3rd verse which I have emphasized below.  

I DO BELIEVE that whatever or wherever you happen to find your Self, IF you are feeling a little or A LOT vulnerable and/or at a crossroads.....humming or singing at the top of your lungs, this wondrous hymn most definitely brings your Angels and their Amazing Grace ...all around you and within you. 

Many times, this has worked for me - I am so happy to share it with you.  
Shining Angels, Angel Light and their Amazing Grace around you today and every day,

ARCHANGEL Gabriel says 'We're all just BIG KIDS'!

Archangel Gabriel so strongly around us today asking us to find time to connect with our Inner child today. SET ASIDE the to-do's, the 'serious faces' and the feelings of RESPONSIBILITY even for just a short time today and....treat your Self to an ice cream, watch a funny show and LAUGH! or take some time at lunch to walk outside and drag your feet through some fallen leaves....pick something today and celebrate being 'a kid at heart'! 'Get a piece of your Self BACK' in the process! 

Inner child UPDATE:
AND SO!   
This morning, I have been following Archangel Gabriel's guidance and took some 'time out' from morning to-do's to take my coffee to the Lake where I felt completely healed and restored while sipping my coffee (I did not forget my mittens and cozy boots) The waves were CRASHING in! I could feel the spray touch my cheeks each time just like the an Angel cleansing as I thought 'how blessed am I?' gazing out at the water touching the sky, sun streaming down on me. AWESOME. !! 

Also, once I had been restored by the water's edge - I carried on with my morning and now that I had been in touch with my inner child, I NOTICED how others around me seemed to be doing the very same thing! 

I saw a woman in her 70's spring out of her car in a parking lot with a bag of bird seed mixed with bread crumbs and as I watched...she emptied the whole bag onto the pavement and then stood there laughing as birds (from a variety of species) completely surrounded her and gobbled up the spontaneous breakfast! She was there enjoying the show for awhile (as was I a few rows away) both of us grinning ear to ear. 

I went on to pick up some things at the department store and there was a man behind me purchasing a model remote control car. The cashier commented 'Are you getting a start on your Christmas shopping?' and he replied laughing 'What? No! This is for ME! I'm just a BIG KID AT HEART'

How DEEP are you?

How deep are you?  How DEEP do you let others see you to be?  How much do you show of your Self to the world?  All of you?  or only a small, tiny bit....just the slightest fraction of you is shown outwardly to the people on your Path.

Interesting.  Why is that do you think?  Why are you 'one person' to some and 'a different person' with others?
Well, it is true that different situations bring out different sides of us.  We show our strengths in some cases and in others we feel 'safer' to show also our 'weaknesses' or perceived weaknesses....our sensitivities.

What if just for a time we got used to showing ALL of our Self to all people on our Path?  What if as a collective whole we ALL decided to show ALL of our Selves to ALL people in ALL situations?

Could we take our guards down, our barriers down, our self perceptions down and our expectations and judgements away and.....simply BE?
Well, we can certainly begin in that general direction!

Going forward, make a conscious decision to show MORE of your Self to others.
Decide to SHARE MORE of your Self with others.
Watch in amazement as your Self  - your INNER SELF -  grows in confidence and inner strength as you honour all parts of your Self in this way.

Continue SHARING and continue GROWING.  This is a beautiful cycle to be a part of!
....and something else...
The MORE you do of this....the MORE others around you do it!  And soon, you have an entire Pathway lined with people who are all giving EVERY part of themselves to EVERY situation!

GET OUT THERE TODAY and SHARE your Self!    Show EVERY wonder-full PART of YOU!

Living with GRATITUDE

There are so many things to be grateful for.
And yes, at some times for sure we FEEL more grateful than others in fact, there are times when we have to REMIND ourselves (and sometimes remind others!) to be grateful.
Sometimes we can be pulled into a mode of thinking or behaviours that does not support a grateful way of existence.
WHAT? A GRATEFUL WAY OF EXISTENCE?!  What is that?

LIVING GRATEFULLY enables you to be in a constant state where you are thankful for others, thankful for your Self, thankful for the wonderful phone call from a friend and EVEN, thankful for the person who spoke very harshly to you earlier in the day.  Why would we be grateful for someone speaking harshly to us?  This event allowed us to stand physically in this moment and yet rise above other's actions and hold our own energy strongly and calmly while this moment passed and we were simply allowed to move on with our day.
OR HOWEVER, you choose to view each moment of angst, worry or anxiety AS there will always be those moments throughout our Life Path.  Always.  HOWEVER we can learn to accept these moments as 'blips on the radar' and CONTINUE to live gratefully --- as each and every moment - whether happy, anxious, worrisome or joyful - are all learning moments on our pathway.

They are all moments 

which are fully orchestrated and timed Divinely on our Path

so that we may move forward 

stronger, wiser and - more gratefully.

Angels and your Inner Child

Go ahead and take a break!  

Take a break from your SERIOUS side, your ADULT side, your RESPONSIBLE "I don't have time for that" side.....and let your Inner child have a go at stepping things up a bit throughout your day. 

We can be SO task oriented that we forget to .... have a little fun.  Some people have forgotten to throw the 'fun factor' into their day for SO MANY days in a row that serious, head down, grim face forward - has gotten to be the normal mode of behaviour.  

Archangel Gabriel connects us with our Inner Child.  This inner child lives within all of us and is the very same 'us' that existed on this physical Life Path BEFORE we got sucked into the abyss of work, bills, responsibilities and deadlines.  Remember her?  or remember him?  

THIS side of ourselves knows how to simply sit in the present moment and allow our mind to wander from one delightful daydream to another.  This side of ourself knows how to listen to the trees and stare up into the clouds and....GET EXCITED for dessert tonight!!   This very powerful child within ourself knows how to listen - REALLY listen to someone telling a story without judging it, without reacting instantly to it and most of all without trying to figure out what WE are going to say in response or what topic we are going to LAUNCH right into as soon as THEY ...stop talking -- are they STILL talking??  

No, the inner child listens and allows themselves to be absorbed by the moment.  They laugh out loud, they jump up and down with excitement, they fall over on the grass and just lie there....because it is soft, they treat themselves to a special 'sweet' at lunchtime because they deserve it; nothing else exists but..... THIS....POWERFUL.....PRESENT.....MOMENT. 

Connecting with our inner child and to Archangel Gabriel allows us to BALANCE our emotions and our physical activity as well.  When we are balanced emotionally, we REVEL in running through the park, bike riding, staring up at the clouds and afterwards we are revved up and excited to get back to work, take on a new project or challenge our Self forward in another area of our life.
